Occupational fraud and misconduct may include issues such as theft and embezzlement, misappropriation of company equipment or systems, discrimination, bullying and harassment, sexual harassment, retaliation, physical threats and intimidation, falsified business records, inflated timesheets and expense reports, fictitious injury claims, substance abuse, bribery and kickbacks, undisclosed conflicts of interest, other unethical business practices, and statutory or contractual compliance violations.
Our mission is to assist our clients in effectively resolving these types of disruptive and destructive workplace issues, so that they may return to normal business operations as quickly as possible.
We work closely with a client company’s management and/or counsel. We adhere to all legal and professional standards in conducting our investigations. We treat all parties, whom we encounter during an investigation, with appropriate respect and dignity. We approach each case with extensive training and experience in the methodology of investigative interviews, the identification and evaluation of evidence, the assessment of witness credibility, and the overall investigative process. We complete a thorough and skilled investigation to effectively establish the facts, clear any innocent parties, and identify those with culpability. We then provide a comprehensive written report detailing our investigative findings, for the client’s review and subsequent administrative action.
